Charing Cross to Leicester Square (Logistics)

SES are contracted to provide labour to carry out maintenance works on the, Northern, Jubilee, Piccadilly and part of the Metropolitan Lines.

The Logistics gang is tasked to give assistance to the Track maintenance gangs and take all Tecroc, Shingle  and Sleepers to the track and remove any spoil and old sleepers from site.

The Gang consists of 12 men which include 1 Site Person in Charge, 1 Lead Platelayer, 9 Skilled Platelayers and 1 PWTEH.

This service has been live since April 2012 with a 7 day working site and rota in place. The works carried out at Charing Cross is to mobilize between 6-7 tonnes per night and remove the same amount from site. We are also required to bring in new sleeper when needed.

This is completed each night within 4hrs. All spoil is taken to Waste disposal points locally.
