South Wimbledon to Morden (Recon)

SES are contracted to provide labour to carry out maintenance works on the, Northern, Jubilee, Piccadilly and part of the Metropolitan Lines.

A gang consists of 13 staff, which includes 2 Site Persons in Charge, 1 Lead Platelayer, 9 Skilled Platelayers and 1 PWTEH

This service has been live since April 2012. Works take place predominantly Sunday to Thursday with the Works on Saturday taking place most weeks

The works carried out at South Wimbledon are Spot and Intermediate Sleeper renewals and changing of Insulated Pots. Gang will also Mobilize between 4-6 tonnes of Tecroc in preparation of works

This is completed each night within 4hrs, which includes up to 4 sleepers renewed and 4 Insulated pots changed. Mobilisation and de-mobilisation of work site also takes place
