Charing Cross to Leicester Square (Recon)

SES are contracted to provide labour to carry out maintenance works on the, Northern, Jubilee, Piccadilly and part of the Metropolitan Lines.

Gang consist of 17 staff, which includes 2 Site Persons in Charge, 1 Lead Platelayer, 13 Skilled Platelayers and 1 PWTEH

This service has been live since June 2011 but altered in April 2012 Works take place on a 7 day working rota.

The works carried out at Charing Cross are Re-Railing in various sizes ranging from 8 meter up to 90 meter string, Spot Sleeper renewals and changing Insulated Pots.

This is completed each night within 4hrs, which includes up to 5 sleepers renewed, 4 Insulated pots changed and/or 90 meter string re-railed. Mobilisation and de-mobilisation of work site also takes place.
