White City Bridge Replacement

SES is at the forefront of specialised Civil Engineering solutions. Our Civil Engineering team displayed their skills in full at White City in London, helping to replace a section of the busy Hammersmith & City Line, high above the capital's streets. SES' technical insight, and our ability to work quickly, both proved critical - keeping disruption to a minimum. 

The project required the replacement of a legacy railway viaduct by a new twin-track bridge. SES provided technical support; as well as specialist skills on-site, as our experts shotcreted and grouted the new bridge into position. As part of this positioning, the SES team introduced specialist materials with high early strengths, to minimise possession periods. In addition, SES designed and implemented a scheme of bespoke temporary works - further helping to minimise disruption.
